Calculator Stair Stringer Layout Diagram Examples

All four layouts use a 2x12 (11.25 in actual), 1 in treads, and 0.75 in riser boards. The 36 in height uses a 48 in run (3-4-5). The others target a 10 in tread. Open any of them in the stair stringer layout tool if you need to change thickness or lumber.

30 in finished deck height

A common short deck run. Four risers at 7.50 in, three 10 in treads, 45° stringer.
